Winston Churchill about Success, Failure and Courage

His famous “no sports!” quote seems to be unsourced, this one however seems to be an authentic one:

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Winston Churchill

The great danger of success is that it may mislead you to resting on your laurels. Hence it’s a good clue that success is always just temporarily. But it’s also comforting, that no failure is as fatal as it may seem to be at first glance. And I like Churchill’s conclusion, that the courage to continue ist the key to continuos success.

What about you? How are you rating success and failure? Do you always have the courage to continue?
